THE VATICAN’S NEW WORLD ORDER – THE KNIGHTS OF MALTA – a well-researched history that may shed light on Masonry. – Duke Mehal Rockefeller

The Roman Catholic Church uses military-like orders or societies to carry out their aims and protect the Church. Using these societies as a secret army to do the Church’s bidding protects it from scrutiny and bad press. For example, in the Middle Ages, the Knights Templar was an order that fought in the crusades on behalf of the Papacy. Templar Knights were giventhe ability to ignore many laws, taxes, and authorities, but had to obey the Pope.i

Although we don’t see the Knights Templar in their original form, there are many new versions of the Order, such as theKnights of Malta, Freemasons, and the various Orders of knights in Britain. European and North American political leaders are often members of these Orders.
If the Order is subservient to the Pope alone, and the British Queen and American President are members of the Order, who really rules the Western world?

One Order of particular interest is the Knights of Malta. According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the Order of the Knights of Malta is, “The most important of all the military orders, both for the extent of its area and for its duration. It is said to have existed before the Crusades and is not extinct at the present time.”ii
The Knights of Malta wore similar costumes to the Knights Templar before them. The stylized cross we see on their uniforms is known today as a Maltese cross.

The Maltese cross is a common feature of the Pope’s garments, reminding us that he is the head of these Orders.
A Protestant branch of the Knights of Malta is the Order of St. John of Jerusalem. Queen Elizabeth II is the Sovereign Head of the Order of St. John,iii as we can see from her costume in the photograph.
The Queen’s participation in this Order, which brings with it required obedience to the Pope, is an example of how King John’s ancient concession of the crown to the Papacy is still in effect today.

America

The United States is also under the rule of the Papacy. Most American presidents have been involved in Freemasonry, which is an outwardly Protestant secret society that is actually controlled by Catholic Jesuits.
Presidents and other American leaders also have strong blood connections to British royalty, and many have been initiatedinto Knighthood in the Order of the Bath under the Queen. American leaders give their allegiance to the Queen, and theQueen is subservient to the Pope, which is just another way that the Papacy controls America.
The Order of the Bath, the Knights of Malta, and the Knights Templar are all the same. Behind the elaborate pomp of these orders sits the same power—the same people calling the shots.

MASONIC KNIGHTS OF MALTA, INTRODUCTION

As we progress through the degrees, many titles, badges and passwords (signs of recognition) are bestowed on us. Many ofthese titles and the like stem from ancient times, and all have their own history to tell. However, it is very often the case, that we do not learn nor understand what this history is. One of the example is the Knights of Malta, as given in the degree of that name in the Commandery.

 

BACKGROUND

 

The Knights of Malta are famous for their heroic stance in the battle defending Malta from Salyman II in 1565, but there is much more to their history.

The Knights of Malta were not always called by that name. Indeed, looking at the history of this order, we find three distinct periods:

• The Hospitaller of St. John of Jerusalem From unknown – 1309
• The Knights of Rhodes From 1309-1522
• The Knights of Malta From 1530 – present

THE FIRST PERIOD (? – 1309)

 The exact origin of the Order is not known, but it is generally accepted that merchants from Amalfi obtained permission from the Caliph of Egypt to build a hospital in Jerusalem to aid and assist visiting pilgrims. However, this organization became a legitimate and separate Order when Gerard (whose last name is never mentioned and who was later beautified) erected his first hospital in around 1080, although it was not officially started until 1113, when Pope Pascal II acknowledgedthe group as an order. This is known, as a the Bull of Pascal, dated February 3, 1113, and read as follows:

“His Venerable Son Gerard, Founder and Director of the Hospital of Jerusalem and his legitimate successors in perpetuity”, continues “….you have asked us that the hospital you have founded in the city of Jerusalem, near the church of Saint Johnthe Baptist, should be fortified by Authority of the Holy See and strengthened by the protection of the Apostle Saint Peter ……..we accede to your demands with paternal clemency and we place by authority of this present decree, this House of God, this Hospital, under obedience to the Apostolic See and the protection of Saint Peter …..given that you are actually administrator and director of this hospital we wish that, at your death, no-one may be put at its head by ruse or violence and that the professed brothers may proceed to this election following the inspiration of God……. We confirm in perpetuity, both for you and your successors … all the advantages, honorifics and possessions that it presently holds in Asia and Europe and that it may acquire in the future, exempting them from all tithes.”

The main objective of the order was to serve and care for the sick and injured pilgrims visiting the Holy Land from Europe, of which there were numerous ones even before the Crusades. The leader of the order was originally called “The Master ofthe Hospital”, but from 1267 the name was changed to Grand Master, who served for life. The Order grew as many of its patients donated land, both in Europe and in the Holy Land as gratitude for their services. As a matter of fact, early documents mentioning such donations, do not mention the sick, only the poor and strangers. The Order was also only concerned with religious conducts, and at first never mentioned anything about knights. Over time however, as thenumber of pilgrims increased, so did the need for their protection. For this reason, knights were recruited from theCrusaders to serve as their protection. This is said to have been the beginning of the military side of the Order. The order’s members were divided into three “classes”,

• The military brothers
• The infirmary brothers
• The Chaplain brothers

The Military brothers consisted of knights recruited from the Crusades, and were called “Heavy Cavalry”. They were commanded by a “Marshal”. Lower-ranking men were recruited from amongst the locals, and were called “Turcopeles”. Those assigned to oversee the Turcopeles were called Turcopiliers. This title is still used in the Scottish Rite Council of Kadosh. The first mention of the military aspects of the Order are found in documents dating from about 1200, and identified two types of knights. The first were knights serving the order for a short period of time, and were called secular knights. The second were knights who vowed permanent allegiance to the order, and were called professed knights. As theorder grew, they became rivals with the pure military order, the Knight Templars. To differentiate themselves from theTemplars, the Hospitallers wore a black cape with a white cross, while the Templars wore white capes with a red cross. Theorder later enjoyed vast privileges like the Templars, of being independent in spiritual and temporal authority (except from Rome), the right to have their own chapels and cemeteries, and their own clergy.

THE SECOND PERIOD (1309-1522)

THE THIRD PERIOD (1530 – PRESENT)

Despite seven Crusades, Jerusalem fell to Saladin in 1187 and the Order lost all of its possessions except those in thePrincipality of Tripoli and Cyprus. They settled in Acre, which also fell to the Turks in 1291, whereupon they fled to Cyprus.The Knight Hospitallers settled in the island of Rhodes in 1309. However, on this island there were few, if any, pilgrims to protect, and from this period on the Order became more militaristic. Another transformation took place; although theKnights were trained and experienced in land battles, in Rhodes the deciding factor became sea battles. In addition, with its isolation, the island and the Grand Master of the Order gained much independent power, equal to that of a small principality. Then, the Ottoman Turks rose in power, and in 1480 Mahomet II attacked the island but was repulsed. Then in 1522, Salyman II attacked Rhodes with an armada of 400 ships and an army said to have numbered between 140,000 and 200,000 men, clearly outnumbering the 7,000 knights. The knights held out for six months, but having no more supplies, surrendered on December 22, 1522. Salyman II, respecting their bravery, decided to spare their lives, and even made ships available to carry the remaining Knights to Europe.

Upon returning to Europe, the Order sought a new base, but the times had changed, and no monarchy was willing to listen.Then, in 1530, the Order asked Emperor Charles V of Spain to give them Malta, which he did.

From this period, the knights wore the famous Maltese Cross. It is an eight-pointed cross, the eight points representing theeight obligations and aspirations which are:

Live in Truth Have Faith Repent of sins Give proof of humility Love justice Be merciful Be sincere Endure persecution

On May 18, 1565, Salyman II, regretting his previous mercy, attacked Malta with, it is said, 38,000 troops and 138 galleys for four months against 500 knights and 5,000 soldiers which were dispersed in two strongholds. The Turks first destroyed theold city, then focused their attention to St. Elmo, a fort in which some knights were holding out. It is said over 6,000 cannonballs were fired into the fort and the fort capitulated on June 23rd after losing half its force. The survivors, 100 knights and 500 soldiers, were all executed, their bodies floated in the harbor on wooden crosses to intimidate theremaining knights holding out. The remaining 300 knights held out across the harbor at Birgu and Senglea. Desperate pleas to Spain were finally answered, when a large army arrived on the island, and the Turks retreated.

Their main rival defeated, ironically, also caused the decline of the order. Having no one major power to defeat, support forthe Order declined. This, combined with the increased difficulty of recruiting new members, many of them having converted to the Protestant and teaching of Martin Luther, caused the Order to decline.

The Knights of Malta, as they were known, stayed in Malta until their Grand Master, Count von Hompesch, surrendered to Napoleon’s army on June 12, 1798 without a fight. Many of the knights were French, and had no intention to fight againsttheir co-religious, countrymen. The knights left Malta for Italy, and constantly tried to recover their island of Malta. In 1802,the war between France and Great Britain ended by the Treaty of Amiens, in which it specifically mentioned that Malta should be restored to the knights. However, before it could be implemented, France and Great Britain were at war again.The Order lost all hope of retaining Malta with the Treaty of Paris in 1814, in which it was stipulated that Malta would be British. Sweden offered the Order the island of Gottland in the Baltic, but this offer was rejected as it would have meant giving up the claims to Malta.

Since this time, the Order’s headquarters is located in Rome. Czar Paul of Russia gave the Order considerable land, and in return was elected Grand Master in 1798, but the election was not recognized by the Pope, and decided that he would appoint a Grand Master from that time onwards. The Pope did not name a Grand Master from 1805 to 1879, after which Pope Leo XIII re-established the position.

From this time, the military side of the Order was lost, and it once again became a pure charitable organization. It’s first major action came in the Crimean War. The Order, in 1994, was given the same status as the Red Cross, being an Observer Member of The United Nations (See Appendix II). It currently lists about 11,000 members.

    Papal Politics

    When we examine the symbolism of the English Orders, we see some shocking messages. Why does everyone bow before thePope – whether they are a religious or a political leader? Why didthe Queen visit the pope dressed in black? Why do so many visitthe pope dressed in black? And why are political leaders such as Ronald Reagan and George Bush knighted? What service did they do? When we study the symbolism there is much that can be gleaned. The Queen, the Knights, the Orders are all subject to thePope. England has long ago lost its independent state and is now subject to the Papacy, but most don’t know it. Can there be a deeper meaning to the rituals and symbolism?

     

    In 1982 Pope John Paul II visited the UK, kissing the ground at Gatwick airport as a show of authority. BBC News tells us that, “In the afternoon, a crowd of 80,000 gathered for mass at Wembley stadium in what was billed as the first ofthe Pope’s ‘outdoor spectaculars.’ They sang ‘He’s got the whole world in his hands’ and clapped their hands as he arrived in his ‘Popemobile.’”

    The Order of the Garter was founded not only as a continuation of the legend of King Arthur’s Round Table, with allthe mysticism and occultism that entails, but also as the overseer of the inner circles of the Priory of Zion, the Knights Templar, and the Rosicrucians, with the Temple Knights having just been thrust out of Europe.     Prince Charles’ coat of arms represents the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire. These are the animal symbols for France, the leopard; Germany, the Bear; and England, the lion. These nations represented the western arm of the HolyRoman Empire.

    The books Burke’s Peerage & Baronetage and Burke’s Landed Gentry have, for 175 years, recorded the genealogies ofthe UK and Ireland’s titled and landed families…these are without comparison as a genealogical reference to theinfluential figures and families of Great Britain and Ireland. They say this:

    “[Bush] is closely related to every European Monarch both on and off the throne.”

    “Gore’s family tree includes Charlemagne and three Holy Roman emperors and England’s Edward I.”

    “Bill Clinton was born William Jefferson Blythe, but took his stepfather’s name as a teenager. Clinton’s ancestry can be traced back, on his mother’s side, to King Henry III who ruled England from 1227 to 1272. He is descended from King Robert I of France.”

    The Jesuit Order was created by Catholic Ignatius Loyola in 1500s to counter the Reformation and uplift the authority of the Papacy.

    Since the beginning, the purpose of the Jesuits has included global political domination, as Loyola himself once said:

    Finally, Let all with such artfulness gain the ascendant over princes, noblemen, and the magistrates of every place, that they may be ready at our beck, even to sacrifice their nearest relations and most intimate friends, when we say it is for our interest and advantage (emphasis added).i

    The world’s wars and revolutions occur because the Jesuits want to establish a one-world government with the Papacy at its head. Even over a century ago their plans were succeeding, as 19th-century theologian Luigi De Sanctis tells us:

    At what then do the Jesuits aim? According to them, they only seek the greater glory of God; but if you examine the facts you will find that they aim at universal dominion alone. They have rendered themselves indispensable to the Pope, who, without them, could not exist, because Catholicism is identified with them. They have rendered themselves indispensable to governors and hold revolutions in their hands; and in this way, either under one name or another, it is they who rule the world (emphasis added).ii

    As the sources below attest, the Jesuits have been involved in—and even spearheaded—many of the world’s worst wars, revolutions, and massacres. At times, the Jesuits are directly involved, at other times, they use their influence over the Freemasons and other secret societies.

    The Jesuits and Other Secret Societies

    Planning Three World Wars

    In a letter dated January 22, 1870, Italian revolutionary and Illuminati leader Guiseppe Mazzini wrote this to Albert Pike, 33-degree Freemason:

    We must allow all of the federations to continue just as they are, with their systems, their central authorities and diverse modes of correspondence between high grades of the same rite, organized as they are at present, but we must create a super rite, which will remain unknown, to which we will call those Masons of high degree whom we shall select. With regard to our brothers in Masonry, these men must be pledged to the strictest secrecy. Through this supreme rite, we will govern all Freemasonry which will become the one International Center, the more powerful because its direction will be unknown.vi

    Albert Pike wrote a letter to Mazzini on August 15, 1871, in which he outlined plans for three world wars that were seen as necessary to bring about the One World Order. For a short time, this letter was on display in the British Museum Library in London and it was copied by William Guy Carr, former Intelligence Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy.

    We shall unleash the nihilist and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity…will receive the pure light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer…the destruction of Christianity and atheism. Both conquered and exterminated at the same time.vii

    According to threeworldwars.com, these were the purposes of the three world wars Pike and Mazzini had in mind:
    The First World War: To overthrow the power of the Czars in Orthodox Russia and bring about an atheistic communist state.
    The Second World War: To originate between Great Britain and Germany. To strengthen communism as antithesis to Judeo-Christian culture and bring about a Zionist State in Israel.
    The Third World War: A Middle Eastern War involving Judaism and Islam and spreading internationally.viii
    Dr. Dennis L. Cuddy agrees:

    Mazzini, with Pike, developed a plan for three world wars so that eventually every nation would be willing to surrender its national sovereignty to a world government. The first war was to end the czarist regime in Russia, and the second war was to allow the Soviet Union to control Europe. The third world war was to be in the Middle East between Moslems and Jews and would result in Armageddon.ix

    Many writers warned of a great conspiracy of the Jesuits in America. Samuel Morse, the father of Morse Code, was one of them. The preface of Foreign Conspiracy Against the Liberties of the United States, written in 1835, reads as follows:

    The author undertakes to show – that a conspiracy against the liberties of this Republic is now in full action, under the direction of the wily Prince Metternich of Austria, who knowing the impossibility of obliterating this troublesome example of a great and free nation by force of arms, is attempting to accomplish his object through the agency of an army of Jesuits. The array of facts and arguments going to prove the existence of such a conspiracy, will astonish any man who opens the book with the same incredulity as we did.xxxiv

    In 1816 John Adams wrote this to President Jefferson:

    Shall we not have regular swarms of them here, in as many disguises as only a king of the gypsies can assume, dressed as painters, publishers, writers and schoolmasters? If ever there was a body of men who merited eternal damnation on earth and in hell it is this Society of Loyola’s.xxxv

    

    President Abraham Lincoln said this:

    The Protestants of both the North and South would surely unite to exterminate the priests and the Jesuits, if they could learn how the priests, the nuns, and the monks, which daily land on our shores, under the pretext of preaching their religion…are nothing else but the emissaries of the Pope, of Napoleon III, and the other despots of Europe, to undermine our institutions, alienate the hearts of our people from our constitution, and our laws, destroy our schools, and prepare a reign of anarchy here as they have done in Ireland, in Mexico, in Spain, and wherever there are any people who want to be free.xxxvi

    The great French General Marquis de Lafayette once said this:

    It is my opinion that if the liberties of this country the United States of America are destroyed, it will be by the subtlety of the Roman Catholic Jesuit priests, for they are the most crafty, dangerous enemies to civil and religious liberty. They have instigated most of the wars of Europe.xxxvii

    These men of the past knew the truth. As we can see by the list below, many American universities are run by Jesuits.

    The Knights Templar formed in the 1000s AD and were sanctioned by the Pope in 1128. However, the power and ritualsof the Knights soon began to unnerve both the Pope and the King of France, who tried to overthrow the Order through persecution and arrests. Historian N. Webster tells us more:

    The King of France, Philippe le Bel, who had hitherto been the friend of the Templars, now became alarmed and urged the Pope to take action against them; but before the Pope was able to find out more about the matter, the King took the law into his own hands and had all the Templars in France arrested on October 13, 1307. The following charges were then brought against them by the Inquisitor for France before whom they were examined:

    1. The ceremony of initiation into their Order was accompanied by insults to the Cross, the denial of Christ, and gross obscenities.
    2. The adoration of an idol which was said to be the image of the true God.
    3. The omission of the words of consecration at Mass.
    4. The right that the lay chiefs arrogated to themselves of giving absolution.
    5. The authorization of unnatural vice.i

    Knights of Malta

    The Knights of Malta (Sovereign Military Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem of Rhodes and of Malta) formed around the same time as the Knights Templar. They are controlled by the Jesuits and have strong global influence:

    Headquartered in Rome these Knights of the Papal Caesar control the Banking, Industry and Military Complexes of the world. They oversee Chase Manhattan Bank with branches in Moscow and New York.     Another Order, the Knights of Columbus, was founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney.

    The Knights of Columbus, founded at New Haven, Connecticut, February 2, 1882, by Rev. M. J. McGivney, curate of St. Mary’s Church…had on January 1, 1905, a total membership of 127,206 persons, 43,537 of whom were insured and 83,669 were associate members.     Like in other secret societies, these Knights must be initiated through various degrees, and have a political purposeinvolving the edification of the Papacy:

    But an adroit feature of this organization, to which Roman Catholics only are eligible, is the initiative service of four degrees, calculated to impress upon candidates their sacred obligations to uphold the Church on this western continent discovered by the great Columbus.

    The relations of the Knights and the Church are supposed to be mutual and reciprocal, the Church using the order to further its ends of capturing America, and the Knights using the Church to exalt the glory of Columbus, and more particularly for their own political preferment…

    they work in collusion with the Hierarchy, and are heart and soul in politics. This fact is well known to political machines and non-Catholic politicians, whose candidates must receive the approval of Rome and the Knights before they dare nominate them for either dog pound or presidency…

    Notwithstanding these facts, the innocent Knights, like their Jesuitical spiritual advisers, publicly declare that they are not in politics…Knights, whose principal business is politics, aye, Jesuitical politics (emphasis added).xi

    Spanish Priest Josemaría Escrivá (1902-1975) founded Opus Dei (The Prelature of the Holy Cross and Opus Dei) in 1928. Opus Dei membership reached over 90,000 in 2009. Members include many government officials and clergy from Spainand throughout the world.

    Opus Dei has been criticized for the extreme right-wing political agenda of its members, and also for its practices ofcorporal mortification—self-inflicted pain—which is described in TIME magazine:

    But numeraries are expected, although not compelled, to wear a cilice, a small chain with inward-pointing spikes, around the upper thigh for two hours each day, and to flail themselves briefly weekly, with a small rope whip called a discipline.x

    Philosopher, historian, and Knight of Malta Avro Manhattan reminds us that Opus Dei is also under the control of the Jesuits and the Papacy:

    The Opus Dei is a semi-secret religious lay order whose paramount objective is total support of the papacy and of the most conservative principals of the Catholic Church [the Council of Trent]…its members have dedicated themselves, with their personal and corporate wealth, to the blind instrument of the church [the Jesuit general].xi

    Although some parts of Freemasonry are secret, this society is really a front organization controlled by the Society of Jesus—the Jesuits:

    If you trace up Masonry, through all its Orders, till you come to the grand tip-top, head Mason of the World, you will discover that the dread individual and the Chief of the Society of Jesus are one and the same person!ii

    The truth is, the Jesuits of Rome have perfected Freemasonry to be their most magnificent and effective tool, accomplishing their purposes among Protestants.iii

    Even members of the New Age movement recognize this connection. Theosophist Helena Blavatsky says this:

    It is curious to note too that most of the bodies which work these, such as the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, the Rite of Avignon, the Order of the Temple, Fessler’s Rite, the “Grand Council of the Emperors of the East and West—”Sovereign Prince Masons,” etc., etc., are nearly all the offspring of the sons of Ignatius Loyola. The Baron Hundt, Chevalier Ramsay, Tschoudy, Zinnendorf, and numerous others who founded the grades in these rites, worked under instructions from the General of the Jesuits. The nest where these high degrees were hatched, and no Masonic rite is free from their baleful influence more or less, was the Jesuit College of Clermont at Paris (emphasis added).iv

    Freemasonry carries on the legacy of the Knights Templar, a military order controlled by the Pope. Although the Knights Templar supposedly do not exist in the same form, a group associated with Freemasonry called the Knights Templar does still exist, and similar organizations such as the Knights of Malta also carry on the legacy.

    Secret Knowledge

    The highest levels of Freemasonry have the Gnostic”secret knowledge” that they hide from the rest of the world, and even lower-level Masons are kept in the dark.Read more about this double doctrine in our article Spirituality and Secret Societies
    There is a division between the inner circle and the outer, the freemen who have the knowledge, and the commoners who don’t even know they are being controlled and enslaved:

    We must create a super rite, which will remain unknown, to which we will call those Masons of high degree (30th and above), whom we shall select. With regards to our brothers in Masonry, these men must be pledged to the strictest secrecy. Through this supreme rite, we will govern all Freemasonry which will become the one international center, the more powerful, because its direction will be unknown.v

    The Blue Degrees are but the outer court of portico of the Temple. Part of the symbols are displayed there to the Initiate, but he is intentionally misled by false interpretations. It is not intended that he shall understand them; but it is intended that he shall imagine he understands them. Their true explication is reserved for the Adepts, the Princes of Masonry. The whole body of the Royal and Sacerdotal Art was hidden so carefully, centuries since, in the High Degrees (emphasis added).vi

    The religion of Freemasonry is essentially the worship of Lucifer, or Satan. In Masonic thought, Satan is the light-bearer, and God is the dark one. This is typical Gnosticinversion of the truth—one of Satan’s favorite deceptions.

    Humanism

    Religion of self—the idea that “man is a god in the making”vii—is another of Satan’s lies taught in Masonry, as these Masonic sources tell us:

    Therefore Masonry teaches that redemption and salvation are both the power and the responsibility of the individual Mason…Every man in essence is his own savior and Redeemer; for if he does not save himself, he will not be saved.viii

    our goal is to create harmony within the lodge and toimprove ourselves, spiritually, intellectually, morally; in all aspects of our lives (emphasis added).ix

    The perfect man is Christ: and Christ is God. This is the birth-right and destiny of every human soul…It is far more important that men should strive to become Christs than that they should believe that Jesus was Christ.x

    Be still—and know—that I am God…‘that I am God,’ the final recognition of the All in All, the unity of the Self with the Cosmos—the cognition of the divinity of the self (emphasis added)!xi

    This divinity of self appeals to people of many religions. Freemasonry allows use of any scripture, and worship at any altar—perpetuating the universal religion that satisfies them all:

    We permit Jewish and [Muslim] brethren to content themselves with the books of the Old Testament or Koran. Masonry does not interfere with the peculiar form or development of any one’s religious faith. All that it asks is that the interpretation of the symbol shall be in accordance to what each one supposes to be the revealed will of the creator.xii

    The true Mason is not creed-bound. He realizes with the divine illumination of his lodge that as a Mason his religion must be universal: Christ, Buddha or Mohammed, the name means little, for he recognizes only the light and not the bearer. He worships at every shrine, bows before every altar, whether in temple. mosque or cathedral, realizing with his truer understanding the oneness of all spiritual truth.xiii

    The Bible is an indispensable part of the furniture of a Christian Lodge, only because it is the sacred book of the Christian religion. The Hebrew Pentateuch in a Hebrew Lodge, and the Koran in a Mohammedan one, belong on the Altar; and one of these, and the Square and Compass, properly understood, are the Great Lights by which a Mason must walk and work.xiv

    Freemasonry is helping in the Papacy’s and New Age movement’s mission of joining all the world’s religions together, as we are seeing happen in the United Nations, the World Council of Churches, and the ecumenical movement.

Among the Reformers, to be a reformer; among theHuguenots, to be a Huguenot; among the Calvinists, to be a Calvinist; among other Protestants, generally to be a Protestant, and obtaining their confidence, to seek even to preach from their pulpits, and to denounce with all the vehemence in your nature our Holy Religion and the Pope; and even to descend so low as to become a Jew among Jews, that you might be enabled to gather together all information for the benefit of your Order as a faithful soldier of the Pope.”

“You have been taught to insidiously plant the seeds of jealousy and hatred between communities, provinces, states that were at peace, and incite them to deeds of blood, involving them in war with each other, and to create revolutions and civil wars in countries that were independent and prosperous, cultivating the arts and the sciences and enjoying the blessings of peace. To take sides with the combatants and to act secretly with your brother Jesuit, who might be engaged on the other side, but openly opposed to that with which you might be connected, only that the Church might be the gainer in the end, in theconditions fixed in the treaties for peace and that the end justifies the means.”

“You have been taught your duty as a spy, to gather all statistics, facts and information in your power from every source; to ingratiate yourself into the confidence of the family circle of Protestants and heretics of every class and character, as well as that of the merchant, the banker, the lawyer, among the schools and universities, in parliaments and legislatures, and thejudiciaries and councils of state, and to be all things to all men, for the Pope’s sake, whose servants we are unto death.”

“You have received all your instructions heretofore as a novice, a neophyte, and have served as co-adjurer, confessor and priest, but you have not yet been invested with all that is necessary to command in the Army of Loyola in the service of thePope. You must serve the proper time as the instrument and executioner as directed by your superiors; for none can command here who has not consecrated his labors with the blood of the heretic; for “without the shedding of blood no man can be saved.” Therefore, to fit yourself for your work and make your own salvation sure, you will, in addition to your former oath of obedience to your order and allegiance to the Pope, repeat after me:-”

The Extreme Oath of the Jesuits

“I, ……….., now, in the presence of Almighty God, the Blessed Virgin Mary, the blessed Michael the Archangel, the blessed St. John the Baptist, the holy Apostles St. Peter and St. Paul and all the saints and sacred hosts of heaven, and to you, my ghostly father, the Superior General of the Society of Jesus, founded by St. Ignatius Loyola in the Pontificate of Paul theThird, and continued to the present, do by the womb of the virgin, the matrix of God, and the rod of Jesus Christ, declare and swear, that his holiness the Pope is Christ’s Vice-regent and is the true and only head of the Catholic or Universal Church throughout the earth; and that by virtue of the keys of binding and loosing, given to his Holiness by my Savior, Jesus Christ, he hath power to depose heretical kings, princes, states, commonwealths and governments, all being illegal without hissacred confirmation and that they may safely be destroyed.”

“Therefore, to the utmost of my power I shall and will defend this doctrine of his Holiness’ right and custom against all usurpers of the heretical or Protestant authority whatever, especially the Lutheran of Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and the now pretended authority and churches of England and Scotland, and branches of the same now established in Ireland and on the Continent of America and elsewhere; and all adherents in regard that they be usurped and heretical, opposing the sacred Mother Church of Rome. I do now renounce and disown any allegiance as due to any heretical king, prince or state named Protestants or Liberals, or obedience to any of the laws, magistrates or officers.”

“I do further declare that the doctrine of the churches of England and Scotland, of the Calvinists, Huguenots and others of thename Protestants or Liberals to be damnable and they themselves damned who will not forsake the same.”

“I do further declare, that I will help, assist, and advise all or any of his Holiness’ agents in any place wherever I shall be, in Switzerland, Germany, Holland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, England, Ireland or America, or in any other Kingdom or territory I shall come to, and do my uttermost to extirpate the heretical Protestants or Liberals’ doctrines and to destroy all their pretended powers, legal or otherwise.”

“I do further promise and declare, that notwithstanding I am dispensed with, to assume my religion heretical, for thepropaganda of the Mother Church’s interest, to keep secret and private all her agents’ counsels from time to time, as they may entrust me and not to divulge, directly or indirectly, by word, writing or circumstance whatever; but to execute all that shall be proposed, given in charge or discovered unto me, by you, my ghostly father, or any of this sacred covenant.”

“I do further promise and declare, that I will have no opinion or will of my own, or any mental reservation whatever, even as a corpse or cadaver (perinde ac cadaver), but will unhesitatingly obey each and every command that I may receive from my superiors in the Militia of the Pope and of Jesus Christ.”

“That I may go to any part of the world withersoever I may be sent, to the frozen regions of the North, the burning sands ofthe desert of Africa, or the jungles of India, to the centers of civilization of Europe, or to the wild haunts of the barbarous savages of America, without murmuring or repining, and will be submissive in all things whatsoever communicated to me.”

“I furthermore promise and declare that I will, when opportunity present, make and wage relentless war, secretly or openly, against all heretics, Protestants and Liberals, as I am directed to do, to extirpate and exterminate them from the face of thewhole earth; and that I will spare neither age, sex or condition; and that I will hang, waste, boil, flay, strangle and bury alivethese infamous heretics, rip up the stomachs and wombs of their women and crush their infants’ heads against the walls, in order to annihilate forever their execrable race. That when the same cannot be done openly, I will secretly use the poisoned cup, the strangulating cord, the steel of the poniard or the leaden bullet, regardless of the honor, rank, dignity, or authority ofthe person or persons, whatever may be their condition in life, either public or private, as I at any time may be directed so to do by any agent of the Pope or Superior of the Brotherhood of the Holy Faith, of the Society of Jesus.”

“In confirmation of which, I hereby dedicate my life, my soul and all my corporal powers, and with this dagger which I now receive, I will subscribe my name written in my own blood, in testimony thereof; and should I prove false or weaken in my determination, may my brethren and fellow soldiers of the Militia of the Pope cut off my hands and my feet, and my throat from ear to ear, my belly opened and sulphur burned therein, with all the punishment that can be inflicted upon me on earth and my soul be tortured by demons in an eternal hell forever!”

“All of which, I, ………., do swear by the Blessed Trinity and blessed Sacraments, which I am now to receive, to perform and on my part to keep inviolable; and do call all the heavenly and glorious host of heaven to witness the blessed Sacrament ofthe Eucharist, and witness the same further with my name written and with the point of this dagger dipped in my own blood and sealed in the face of this holy covenant.”

(He receives the wafer from the Superior and writes his name with the point of his dagger dipped in his own blood taken from over his heart.)

Superior:

“You will now rise to your feet and I will instruct you in the Catechism necessary to make yourself known to any member ofthe Society of Jesus belonging to this rank.”

“In the first place, you, as a Brother Jesuit, will with another mutually make the ordinary sign of the cross as any ordinary Roman Catholic would; then one cross his wrists, the palms of his hands open, and the other in answer crosses his feet, one above the other; the first points with forefinger of the right hand to the center of the palm of the left, the other with theforefinger of the left hand points to the center of the palm of the right; the first then with his right hand makes a circle around his head, touching it; the other then with the forefinger of his left hand touches the left side of his body just below his heart;the first then with his right hand draws it across the throat of the other, and the latter then with a dagger down the stomach and abdomen of the first. The first then says Iustum; and the other answers Necar; the first Reges. The other answers Impious.” (The meaning of which has already been explained.) “The first will then present a small piece of paper folded in a peculiar manner, four times, which the other will cut longitudinally and on opening the name Jesu will be found written uponthe head and arms of a cross three times. You will then give and receive with him the following questions and answers:-”

Question:- From whither do you come?

Answer:- The Holy faith.

Q.:- Whom do you serve?

A.:- The Holy Father at Rome, the Pope, and the Roman Catholic Church Universal throughout the world.

Q.:- Who commands you?

A.:- The Successor of St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus or the Soldiers of Jesus Christ.

Q.:- Who received you?

A.:- A venerable man in white hair.

Q.:- How?

A.:- With a naked dagger, I kneeling upon the cross beneath the banners of the Pope and of our sacred order.

Q.:- Did you take an oath?

A.:- I did, to destroy heretics and their governments and rulers, and to spare neither age, sex nor condition. To be as a corpse without any opinion or will of my own, but to implicitly obey my Superiors in all things without hesitation of murmuring.

Q.:- Will you do that?

A.:- I will.

Q.:- How do you travel?

A.:- In the bark of Peter the fisherman.

Q.:- Whither do you travel?

A.:- To the four quarters of the globe.

Q.:- For what purpose?

A.:- To obey the orders of my general and Superiors and execute the will of the Pope and faithfully fulfill the conditions of my oaths.

Q.:- Go ye, then, into all the world and take possession of all lands in the name of the Pope. He who will not accept him as theVicar of Jesus and his Vice-regent on earth, let him be accursed and exterminated.”

The Oath of the Knights of Columbus, Knights of Malta and Rhodes Scholars is based upon the Oath of the Jesuits

(This is an extract of the Congressional Record of the House of Representatives dated February 15, 1913, where the oath isentered as purported to be of the Knights of Columbus).

“That I will not deal with or employ a Protestant if in my power to deal with or employ a Catholic. That I will place Catholic girls in Protestant families that a weekly report may be made of the inner movements of the heretics.”

“That I will provide myself with arms and ammunition that I may be in readiness when the word is passed, or I am commanded to defend the church either as an individual or with the militia of the Pope.”

“All of which I, …………, do swear by the blessed Trinity and blessed sacrament which I am now to receive to perform and on part to keep this, my oath.”

“In testimony hereof, I take this most holy and blessed Sacrament of the Eucharist and witness the same further with my name written with the point of this dagger dipped in my own blood and seal in the face of this holy sacrament.”

The Oath administered to the Illuminati is based upon the Oath of the Jesuits

Before the Oath is administered it is said — a sword is pointed at the breast:

“Shouldst thou become a traitor or perjurer, let this sword remind thee of each and all the members in arms against thee. Do not hope to find safety; whithersoever thou mayest fly, shame and remorse as well as the vengeance of thine unknown brothers will torture and pursue thee.”

Then in the Oath which follows he swears:

“. . . Eternal silence, and faithfulness and everlasting obedience to all superiors and regulations of the Order. I also renounce my own personal views and opinions as well as all control of my powers and capacities. I promise also to consider the well-being of the Order as my own, and I am ready, as long as I am a member, to serve it with my goods, my honour, and my life . . . If I act against the rules and well-being of the Society, I will submit myself to the penalties to which my superiors may condemn me . . .”

“In the name of the son crucified (i.e. the Pentagram, the illuminised man), swear to break the bonds which still bind you to your father, mother, brothers, sisters, wife, relatives, friends, mistresses, kings, chiefs, benefactors, and all persons to whomsoever you may have promised faith, obedience, and service. Name and curse the place where you were born, so that you may dwell in another sphere, to which you will attain only after having renounced this pestilential globe, vile refuse of theheavens! From this moment you are free from the so-called oath to country and laws: swear to reveal to the new chief, recognised by you, what you may have seen or done, intercepted, read or heard, learned or surmised, and also seek for and spy out what your eyes cannot discern. Honour and respect the Aqua Tofana (i.e. an imperceptably slow poison) as a sure, prompt, and necessary means of purging the globe by death of those who seek to vilify the truth and sieze it from our hands. Fly from Spain, Naples, and all accursed land; finally fly from the temptation to reveal what you may hear, for the thunder isno prompter that the knife, which awaits you in whatsoever place you may be. Live in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (The Trinity of Illuminism — Cabalistic and Gnostic. The Father — the generating fire; the Holy Spirit — the Great Mother Nature, reproducing all things; the Son — the manifestation, the vital fluid, the astral light of Illuminism).”

“The three forms of initiation — individual, group, or universal — all lead to conscious or unconscious control by a central power, who in some mysterious way makes its influence felt; often clairvoyantly and clairaudiently seen and heard, but neverphysically present or visible. the system in all three is the same — cabalistic. The Jewish Encyclopaedia points out that Gnosticism “was Jewish in character long before it became Christian,” and quotesthe opinion, “a movement closely connected with Jewish mysticism.” The Freemason Ragon says: “The Cabala is the key ofthe occult sciences. The Gnostics were born of the Cabalists.”

Rabbi Benamozegh says, “Those who will take the trouble to examine with care the connection between Judaism and philosophic Freemasonry, theosophy, and the mysteries in general . . . will cease to smile in pity at the suggestion that Cabalistic theology may have a role to play in the religious transformations of the future. . . . It contains the key to themodern religious problem” (Anonymous, Light- bearers of Darkness, The Christian Book Club of America, p11).

“Chaldean thought acted powerfully upon orthodox Judaism and determined the growth of a sect in its midst which was to transform Israel. . . . This sect was that of the Pharisees. . . . The Jewish writer Bernard Lazare said, “It is certain that there were Jews even at the cradle of Freemasonry — Cabalistic Jews, as it is proved by certain existing rites . . . The Jew is also a builder: proud, ambitious, domineering, he tries to draw everything to himself. Mrs. Nesta Webster in Secret Societies and Subversive Movements, writes:

In his History of Magic, Eliphas Levi informs us:
